So we can assume that both Slash and Perla had talked about separating prior to June 2014 and just 2 months prior Slash was NOT optimistic.


So communication could have greatly improved anywhere from April 2014 to the time Slash signed over the sync right prior to the
A4D dvd release on July 1, 2014.
By October 2014, something definitely happened.


The idea that a reunion/reuniting was anywhere in the works by mid-2014 is farfetched, we can assume they had to get to know each other again.


So for anyone (namely Marc Canter's deluded mind) to imply that Axl was saying anything close to he wouldn't do a reunion with Perla in the picture is ludicrous.

That would be putting the cart before the horse after we know that Axl wouldn't do anything just for the money or fame.

He wouldn't do a reunion if he wasn't friends with Slash. Period.



Was Perla in the way of anything especially in the last couple years? 
Does anyone really believe Axl was complaining about Perla as his issue with Slash?
Who would he be revealing that if he did?
When did that happen? 
I call bullshit on Canter's imaginings. I hope people start demanding he stop his ridiculous crusade.

My main point here is Slash seemed to have been separating with Perla and still said the above about Axl.
People can assume that Perla would have been too involved in Slash's business for Axl's comfort.
People can assume Perla deepened the wedge with some of their business strategies (both made public comments).
People can assume same of Ax's management.
These are safe assumptions but to put words in Axl's mouth is wrong and if Canter can't stop the charade that
to this very day he know what Axl thinks, feels, or says privately to others. If he can't stop -at least- make Axl sound logical.
Axl's story is not that Slash's ex-wife caused the rift in their friendship and stopped them from working together.
Canter is not the person who tried to make them up either, he is a persona non-grata in their affairs.
He is the internet hagfish who talked shit about Axl non-stop in a fan forum dreaming up scenarios like what came out today.

@slashingslash - It's up to fans to write these online sites and tell them that Marc Canter is not legit. He has no business currently
with the band in 3 decades and his book project was not supported by Axl in the end and they parted ways over a decade ago. If
he has not spoken to Axl in that long he has an imaginary friendship, one where he imagines Axl donating an organ to him or vice-versa.
(yes, he did say that----it doesn't get any more deranged than that). Axl is not family to him or vice-versa, it was an important friendship 
to Marc to this day but making himself his unappointed spokesperson spreading falsities is unforgivable. 
This is  case of "Celebrity worship syndrome (CWS) is an obsessive addictive disorder in which a person becomes overly involved with the details of a celebrity's personal life. Psychologists have indicated that though many people obsess over film, television, sport and pop stars, the only common factor between them is that they are all figures in the public eye. Clearly they gave nice blurbs on Canter's book TO BE NICE not for those quotes to keep appearing out as current statements.

This was Duff's response to these articles," I have no comment on that. That came out of left field for me. My manager sent me the link and I looked at it like, “What the hell?” Little weird." We knew from 2 very credible sources that Axl and Slash had been contact before October of 2014.
I am unclear how many months before October they were in direct contact. The go-between people
were instrumental with the first signs of a reconciliation (indirect contact).

It was said that Slash was going to announce it last year and I really thought he was going to announce it
on that morning interview show, I remember one announcer being kind of annoying asking him why he wore his glasses.
After that happened, we figured there there would be something announced on Axl's birthday. Instead, Slash just
acknowledged the birthday. Axl seemed to acknowledge Slash in his tweet.

Another clue was Erin Everly's posts. She tipped people off with her picture of Slash and Meegan's tender moment.
The two had visited her in Atlanta. She began posting pics of her and Axl. I think that included their wedding photo.
It was later revealed that she was in touch with Axl's camp. Everyone had reached out to Axl it seemed.

I thought we could make a timeline here, if anyone recalls any dates of clues. For example, regarding the reunion,
Slash has recently said "Never say never".

I thought the 2013 single The Dead Daisies "Lock N Load" that found Slash collaborating on a side project that featured Richard Fortus, Fran Ferrar, and Dizzy Reed.
Just the fact that Slash was writing and recording with 3 of the guys in Axls current lineup of Guns N Roses seemed like something that would not have hapened unless some kind of peace was beginning.

These are also the only 3 that have remained in the band in its current lineup.

I realize this is much further back than 9 months.
But everything needs seeds to grow.
I also wouldnt have thought Fortus, Ferrar and Reed would have been allowed to record with Slash without causing serious problems with Axl unless things were changing.

Actually Fortus wasn't on that track, he didn't want to, out of respect for Axl. Things weren't mended just yet.
